Dell has announced the European launch of the Dell Download Store, an online software "superstore" where consumers can download music and software titles, including games.Powered by Nexway, Dell says the store "builds on Dell's heritage of value, and direct customer relationships, providing a one-stop shop for the consumer, in a convenient, easy-to-use interface".
Games will be available from Sega, Deep Silver, Atari, NCsoft, Codemasters, Kaspersky, AVIRA, Nero and Lavasoft.
Music available for download is said to include leading artists from major labels, without DRM restrictions.
The Download Store will initially be available in the UK, France and Germany and will be rolling out soon to Spain, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Biz, Dell, Audio, Music downloads, Gaming, Online, Software, nexway, shopping
