Further to the announcement of the £9 monthly tariff, UK operator 3 has announced that it will offer the same price for a SIM-only deal.

Stating that 3 always has its customers’ "best interests at heart", the new plan is being introduced "in light of the current economic climate".

The SIM Only 100 plan will cost £9 per month with a 1 month rolling contract, and offers a flexible bundle of 100 minutes or texts, plus 300 3 to 3 minutes, free voicemail and Windows Live Messenger.

In addition, the package offers free international calls with Skype - dependent on the handset you stick the card in.

3's SIM Only 100 is available from 3Stores now.
