LG GD900 see-thru phone debuts

16 February 2009 14:09 GMT / By Stuart Miles

LG has launched a new handset at Mobile World Congress that features a see-thru keypad.

The new GD900 will, according to LG "prove that stylish design can be achieved not only with the use of vivid colours, but also by revealing the handset in its purest form".

When opened, its sliding, translucent keypad illuminates a cool glow that reflects the phone’s sleek and polished silver body.

The LG-GD900 is scheduled for release during the second quarter of 2009 and the phone’s advanced features will be unveiled at that time say LG.

No specifications are currently available.
