LG GD910 phone watch does video

MWC 2009: Live demo stuns

16 February 2009 13:15 GMT / By Chris Hall

LG has demonstrated that their 3G watch phone is more than capable of making video calls, with a live demo in front of journalists in their press conference at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

LG president Skott Ahn made a call on the new device to Microsoft's Steve Ballmer, to demonstrate the advancements made since the watch was shown off at CES in Las Vegas.

The world's first market-ready "touch watch phone" with 3G video telephony and GSM quad band capabilities, the GD910 will go on sale in Europe "sometime in 2009".
