Tony Blair has embraced the world of podcasting, by doing one for The Sun newspaper in the UK.

In what is the first ever podcast by a British Prime Minister the PM talks to The Sun's Political Editor George Pascoe-Watson, about the newspapers campaign to rid Britain's streets of the louts who make decent people's lives a misery.

Following his own announcement about petty crime yesterday, the PM promises tough new powers for police to close rowdy pubs, take drug dealers' money and evict people who cause mayhem, Mr Blair told how everyone has to work together to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour - adding "I can't do it sitting in Downing Street".

The Prime Minister used the paper's first podcast to hammer home his determination to rid Britain of yobs.
