Nokia E75 announced

MWC 2009: New QWERTY handset inspired by 9300

As well as launching the E55, Nokia has unveiled another Eseries device, the E75, at Mobile World Congress.

The E75 comes with Nokia Messaging that, along with the company's corporate email clients, claims to give people "the most efficient solution for accessing the world's consumer and corporate email on the go".

The enhanced email UI includes folder and HTML email support, expandable views and sorting capability by date, sender and size, as well as the most commonly used email functions "just a single click away".

As well as email, the device also offers improved calendar capability, as well as contacts and task management. There's also Nokia Maps, A-GPS and N-gage gaming.

"With the Nokia E75 we took a lot of inspiration from the Nokia 9300, which was our first mini communicator", says Kai Oistamo, executive vice president at Nokia.

"Owners of the Nokia 9300 loved the messaging functionality a full keyboard provided, but also used the traditional phone keypad a great deal. With the Nokia E75 we kept these essential ingredients, significantly upgraded all of the features and made it as compact as possible".

The Nokia E75 is expected to ship in March at an estimated retail price of 375 euros, before taxes and subsidies.

It is already available for pre-order via Nokia.com, however while the holding page allows users to pre-order in Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, and the USA, the UK is absent from the list - but UK availability has been confirmed to Pocket-lint by Nokia.
