Google has confirmed that it is working on a Mac version of its Chrome browser following a post of the first official screenshot online in a Google Chromium-dev group.

Posted by Google employee Avi Drissman, the screenshot gives little details as to the features the software will offer, however does confirm that the company is working on a Mac version to give web surfers an alternative to Safari and Firefox.

The post entitled "Now we can call it Chrome!" was posted on Thursday, though Drissman doesn't say when Google will be launching the Mac version of the browser.
