Medion has announced the launch of the Akoya E2005 D nettop PC describing it as an affordable, ultra-compact mini-tower.Based on the Intel Atom processor technology, th nettop is said to be quiet and power efficient, while the space-saving (300 x 65 x 270mm) system includes a 19-inch widescreen LCD TFT monitor.
Running Windows XP Home, the E2005 offers wireless LAN 802.11b/g, a front-loading multiformat, dual-layer DVD/CD writer, 1GB RAM and a 160GB hard drive.
Other specs include two USB ports, a memory card reader, headphone port and audio jack connections for 7.1 channel HD audio.
