Daily Tech Deal: Bring new life to your old Cowon

Money saving deals, offers and innovations

Here on the Daily Tech Deal we want to do our bit for the environment, so when we saw this new service from Advanced MP3 Players we thought we would spread the proverbial eco love.

The service is slightly niche, but provides a solution to the problem of what to do when your old Cowon iAudio brand MP3 player or PMP is in need of a little refurbishment.

Whether your beloved device is suffering from poor battery life, a dodgy display or needs a new hard disk, Advanced MP3 Players say they can "divert that player from the scrapheap and save you the cost of a brand new player".

It matters not where you purchased the device and once the player has been received their experienced technicians will give you a quote for the mend.

Sample costs for new batteries range from £35 to £40, so a fair bit cheaper than forking out for a new device.
