Dell has announced the 12.1-inch Latitude XT2 convertible tablet, updating the company's first tablet PC with multi-touch screen capabilities.
Dell says the multi-touch capabilities on the Latitude XT2 allow users to use natural gestures like a pinch or tap for scrolling, panning, rotating and zooming.
In addition the new Intel Core 2 Duo model gets up to 11 hours 28 minutes of battery life with a six cell battery and offers a daylight viewable display.
"Input flexibility" comes in with a full-size keyboard, touchpad, point stick and battery-free pen.
Dell is claiming improved connectivity, an enhanced hinge design and more comprehensive security features.
The system starts at £1299 or 1599 euros and is available now at www.dell.com/latitude.
