Sharp launches bright red 19-inch LCD television

Sharp has unleashed a new bright red LCD TV to its LC-19D1E range.

Sharp says the new 19-incher with its slimline design is the "ultimate style statement" for any room in the house.

Standing 36cm tall (including the stand) this hot-hued display is angled at your bedroom slash kitchen slash study second TV market.

With PC and HDMI inputs the telly can be used as a monitor or a display for a next-gen games console.

Specs include a 176 degree viewing angle, 7500:1 contrast ratio, built-in Freeview and a 1366 x 768 panel resolution.

The red LC-19D1E will be available from March 2009 in selected retailers priced at approximately £250.
