D-Link launches two new security cameras

Keep an eye on your stuff wherever you are

For anyone looking to keep an eye on their home or office when they aren't around, D-Link has launched two new network cameras that users will be able to follow, wherever they are.

The DCS-2121 wireless megapixel network camera is able to connect up to any home or small business network and enable remote viewing, and its wireless capability means you can tuck it into places that you couldn't have before.

However, if wireless is not a necessity to you, the DCS-910 is a wired version that does the same but comes up cheaper, connecting into a network using standard Ethernet cables.

Both cameras can be viewed and controlled from any computer thanks to the remote access feature, and allows users to take snapshots or recordings directly from the web browser.

The cameras can also be configured to detect motion, send email alerts when motion is triggered and record to a computer on the home network (or to SD card in the case of the DCS-2121) for detailed video monitoring and playback.

Both DCS-2121 and DCS-910 have high light sensitivity allowing for quality video capture in rooms with minimal lighting and deliver up to 30fps at 320 x 240 resolution. They also come with D-ViewCam 2.0 software, which allows you to monitor and control up to 32 cameras at a time.

The DCS-910 and DCS-2121 are available now and have an RRP of £129.99 and £174.99 respectively.
