Sony Ericsson AB900 car speakerphone launches

10 February 2009 9:36 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Sony Ericsson has launched the AB900 Bluetooth car speakerphone that will play music as well as let you make and receive calls.

Users can stream songs from their mobile phone to the AB900 and it will broadcast them over the car's audio system.

With the speakerphone's RDS feature Sony Ericsson claims no installation, easy frequency searching and there's also quick access to top five numbers.

Music pauses when a call comes in, the unit offers 26 hours of talk time and 40 days of standby time, and offers easy transfer between vehicle and home/office hands-free chatting too.

No availability or pricing revealed as this is apparently TBC.
