Printstik gets Windows Mobile compatibility

9 February 2009 22:10 GMT / By Verity Burns

PLANon have announced an update for its mobile Bluetooth printer Printstik, making it compatible with all smartphones running Windows Mobile.

The Printstik was previously only compatible with BlackBerrys and Bluetooth laptops, but PLANon hopes to reach a wider audience with the update - with an iPhone update planned later.

The Printstik is the world's smallest full A4 page printer, which enables users to print e-mails, documents and images on the move.

It works from a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, weighs just 700g and prints up to three full pages per minute.

The new Windows Mobile driver is available to download for free from PLANon website, where you'll also be able to find out more information on the Printstik.
