We've seen film scanners that convert negatives into digital files, but Firebox is offering a new device that goes one step further and can transfer your old pics onto SD memory cards.The "Film 2 SD" negative scanner, scans negs, with a preview on the built-in LCD screen, can mirror, flip or rotate the images, and then save them down to SD, or will transfer to your PC or Mac via USB.
The new negative scanner comes complete with a 1GB SD card that Firebox reckons is capable of storing around 700 pics at a resolution of 5 megapixels.
