UK iTunes store adds HD content

As well as Lost, which we brought you news of last week, Apple's iTunes in the UK has seen a whole host of new high definition video content added to the store.

US dramas feature heavily with Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, House, Desperate Housewives, Brothers and Sisters and 30 Rock all available.

In addition, the ultimate HD showcase, series one of the Beeb's Planet Earth is available to download for £24.99.

For those who purchase the high definition version of the shows, Apple bundles a standard definition version - for viewing on iPods and iPhones - along with it.
