Nikon announced updates to its S series on Tuesday, but sadly had to cancel their press conference in London because of the heavy snowfall. Pocket-lint braved the blizzards and treacherous black ice to get our hands on the tasty new models.

The S230, a 10-megapixel, highly-pocketable, snapper boasting a 3-inch touchscreen interface can be yours for £189. Despite being a touchscreen camera, it is still pretty slim, being only slightly fatter than the S220 little sister.

Whilst we put the new camera through its paces, feast your eyes on these shots.
