The new Nikon S series is out, but sadly had to cancel their press conference in London because of the heavy snowfall. Pocket-lint braved the blizzards and treacherous black ice to get our hands on the tasty new models.

The S220 can be yours for £149 comes in at the bottom of the range, but with svelte dimensions, a 10-megapixel sensor and 3x optical zoom, it's sure to be a big hit with those looking for a proper camera to stick in their pocket or bag.

Whilst we put the new camera through its paces, feast your eyes on these shots.
