Mozilla has issued an update for its Firefox web browser, making the 3.0.6 version available to download.

The organisation says Firefox 3.0.6 fixes several issues found in Firefox 3.0.5, including security and stability issues.

It also fixes a problem some users have reported where parts of the screen were not properly displaying after Firefox was open for long periods of time.

Other tweaks include issues with the display of Indic scripts and improved ability for scripted commands to work with plugins.

The company is currently working on Firefox 3.1 that's available as an early beta release.
