Sanyo has launched a new flagship HD camcorder at an event in London on Wednesday, and we've now captured it on video for you.

The new model, which will cost £549.99 and be available in February, will offer users 1080p video resolution at 60 fields per second.

Footage can be recorded onto an SDHC card (up to 32GB), while those looking for digital still shots will be pleased to see that you also get a 9-megapixel still camera tucked in the pistol grip form factor.

Sanyo will also offer a series of screw on lenses including a wide-angle offering (pictured) and a macro lens.

And yes, I do get the name wrong in the video - seems I can't tell the difference between HD and DH. Sorry.
