Nikon is set to launch three new "affordable" Coolpix cameras, in the form of the L100, L20 and the L19.

The L100 comes in at the top of the range, boasting 10 megapixels, a 15x zoom Nikkor lens (covering 28mm-420mm) and Nikon's Expeed digital image processing system.

In Macro Mode, the L100 will capture objects as close as 1cm, while the Sports Continuous mode will allow up to 13fps. It also benefits from movie capture with sound, four anti-blur features for the not-so-steady hand, and Scene Auto Selector.

The L100 features a sensitivity range up to ISO 3200 for shots in poor lighting, as well as handy extras like in-camera red-eye fix, Smile Capture and Blink Warning.

The L20 and L19 are 10 and 8 megapixels respectively, and share several features including Full-Auto Mode, Scene Auto Selector, Smile Mode and Blink Warning.

Both cameras record movies, which you'll be able to watch back on a 3-inch screen on the L20, or a 2.7-inch screen on the L19. They are also both powered by AA batteries for ultimate ease of use.

The L20 will be available in black metallic and deep red, while the L19 will hit the shelves in in bright silver or shiny pink. Both available on the 20 February, they will cost £129 and £99 respectively.

The L100 on the other hand will be on sale a little later, from 13 March for £239.
