Congratulations to Ahmed for winning the TomTom 740 LIVE for his comment on our Sony Vaio-P picture gallery.

You could be this month's winner - just comment on any news story or review you find on Pocket-lint and you can win yourself an Intempo InSession iPod speaker dock, worth £79.

The rules of the competition are simple, you can enter as many times as you like by simply commenting on any story. It doesn't have to be in depth, detailed or technical, but it does have to be useful and helpful. Just saying you want to win isn't going to cut it, nor merely a "hello world".

At the end of the month we will pick the best comment and they will get the prize.

You don't have to sign up to comment on the stories, we just ask for your name, location and email address - that does not show up online and is not passed on.

We will be contacting the winner via email so make sure you use the right one in the form when you make a comment.

The InSession is Intempo's latest iPod speaker dock that claims to offer "solid, room-filling sound".

Claiming to create an impressive wall of sound, the 25 Watt stereo speakers pump out "clear and detailed" vocals while the integrated subwoofer generates "a dynamic sound with a cavernous bass".

The InSession comes complete with a remote which lets you navigate between tracks on your iPod as well as control the volume and adjust the treble and bass.

  • I think it's interesting that a prize was awarded for a comment that's not completely correct! Posted by Colin Rootz, Jamaica via USA
  • Oh My! This has to be one of the most embarrassing goof up.
An award to a comment which is totally wrong!

"useful and helpful"? Adrian got it totally mixed up!

  • Wow, i want one for my room. Posted by Alberto, Jerez de la frontera, spain
  • Thanks everyone for your comments above. We've double checked with Sanyo, who themselves has they tell us double and triple checked the information in the comments on the Sanyo Xacti review and it seems Adrian is wrong.

In light of this we are re-awarding the prize to another commentor on the site and changed the copy accordingly.

Basically we screwed up. I could blame the intern but as we don't have one that wouldn't be fair. We try to be as open and honest on Pocket-lint and unfortunately we occasionally get things wrong.

What's great is that there are plenty of people who have sprung to help our readers fine the right answer.

Thank you for your help and support in making Pocket-lint strive to be better.

  • Good looking set of speakers. We have the Intempo InConcert speakers which are really good. Basically the same styling but slightly larger & slightly higher power output. If these perform as good as the InConcert then I would not hesitate in recomending them. Posted by Ian Bruce, United Kingdom
  • I currently have an iHome2Go from a couple years ago, and it's starting to lose sound quality from being used so frequently. I've heard some of the new speaker docks, including this one, and I think the InConcert line definitely outperforms many competitors and would be a great addition to my room. If I don't end up with it after this contest, I might go out and buy one anyway.
