Square Enix confirmed earlier in the month that gamers outside of Japan wouldn't be seeing the game until April 2010 at the earliest.
The Japanese release will go ahead in 2009 as planned, but as a PlayStation 3 exclusive - it will be available on both Xbox 360 and PS3 over here.

Square Enix has released a new Final Fantasy XIII trailer that will give FF fans a sneak peek into what they can expect from the next instalment in the series.The trailer shows a mixture of cinematic sequences as well as some gameplay footage too, which is all looking pretty nice.
