Call of Duty 6 definitely in development

Actor confirms his involvement

It seems that we could definitely be seeing Call of Duty 6 before 2009 is out, after actor Ken Lally confirmed his involvement with the project.

The studio behind COD6 (or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 if you will) Infinity Ward, had said back in August last year that it hoped for a 2009 release of the sequel.

Since then, as recently as December, Activision had said that any news of any sequels was purely "speculative".

However, it seems a little more than speculative if Ken Lally, who has also worked on Devil May Cry 4 and Resident Evil 5, has confirmed he has already "done" his voiceover work for the game - suggesting it is pretty far into development.

For some reason it seems Lally has got himself into "hot water" with Activision for the name drop. Poor guy. We'd think you can expect to see COD6 towards the end of the year, with more news no doubt leaking on the run up. We'll keep you updated.
