The speakerphone will be in the shops later this month in America and is priced at $49.99. No word as yet on a UK launch date and pricing.

The unit is just one of the many that have been launched at the show which take advantage of Skype's VoIP service.

In other Skype related news, the company confirmed that its video version; Skype 2.0 is now out of Beta. The latest version adds the ability to video call at the same time as voice.
