Pioneer has launched a new CD tuner, the DEH-P4100SD, that it boasts is "compatible with all common digital audio formats and virtually any digital audio device".

As well as playing CDs, the tuner has an integrated, "invisible", SD slot for those who have got into storing their music on the tiny memory card format.

Other connections include USB, that will allow for MP3 player hook-up, via a cable with some models - and Bluetooth connectivity with an optional adapter.

The DEH-P4100SD will be available from February 2009 at £189.99.
