Pocket-lint's Stuart Miles attended the London launch of Philips' bonkers new "Cinema" line of televisions that sees the 56-inch widescreen monster given a loooong 21:9 ratio for black bar haters.

I am really happy ,but ...if the hardware-manufactuer are vorgot that since beginn of the MPEG2-Standard for Digital Versatile Disc(s) and Digital Video Broadcasting (Terrestrial ,Satellit and Cable) this standard allows Display Aspect Ratios 1:1 ,4:3 ,16:9 AND EVEN 2,21:1 (ALSO 20:9) TOOO ?!?!?
