LeapFrog is hoping to take on the traditional teddy bear market with a new plush toy that's fully interactive.
The new toy, called My Pal Scout, can be connected to the Internet allowing parents to download their child's name, favourite colour, animal and foods plus songs and activities.
Rather than offer a hard plastic console on the pooches tummy, My Pal Scout will feature four soft switches in its paws that allows you to turn it on and off, play music, play games or turn on a night light on its collar.
LeapFrog, who is hoping a £19.99 price point will be too attractive to ignore say that more content that you can add to the toy will be available online for free.
"My Pal Scout is designed for baby's 12 months plus and will introduce them to numbers, letters, emotional skills and daily routines", the company says.
Those not impressed by the green colour can opt for a violet coloured version with the alternative "My pal Violet".
Woof.
