More sources have hinted that a sequel to Mario & Sonic at the Olympics is on the way.Rumours first began when news of the sequel appeared in a Spanish Nintendo magazine, who referred to the game as Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympics.
Now sources close to Nintendo have apparently come forward and confirmed that such a game is in development, and that it does have a wintry theme.
A Sega spokesperson did the obligatory "no comment" to the first report, but has yet to address the most recent one.
We're pretty sure it's a dead cert', considering the first Mario & Sonic game was such a success. It held strong in the charts after its release in November 2007, selling 5 million copies in its first 3 months alone. It has since made regular reappearances in the top ten, and was named Game's third best-selling title in 2008.
