EA has announced that the premium downloadable content for Mirror's Edge is set for release on 29 January for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

The DLC was announced before Christmas, and consists of seven new Time Trial maps offering up nine new races.

We posted a trailer of what you can expect from the new content, which will work in the game's free running Time Trial mode and is built around a more abstract aesthetic.

PS3 gamers are able to get their hands on a free tenth map, but it's unclear as yet if you have to buy the rest of the pack to get it.

The pack will cost 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live Marketplace, and $10 for PlayStation 3 and PC owners. The PC version of the full game goes on sale this Friday, 16 January.
