Microsoft to increase Xbox Live Friends limit

"It's on the list"

Microsoft executive Aaron Greenberg has said that plans are in the pipeline to up the number of Friends you can have on Xbox Live.

"I can't commit to when that will happen, but that is something we want to do", he said in a recent interview.

"It's definitely something we're looking at expanding and, as this social network grows, we've absolutely heard the pleas for that. It's on the list".

Currently you can only have up to 100 people on your Friends list, which according to Greenberg is because the system was originally designed like that for the original Xbox.

However, now as Xbox Live grows Greenberg believes that it should allow for more flexibility, and more Friends. You can never have too many friends after all.
