Sony showcases 3D PS3 titles at CES

But refuses to confirm any future 3D gaming strategy

Sony has unveiled a number of 3D PS3 titles at CES 2009 in Las Vegas.

However, in a rather frustrating twist, the company would not confirm the development of any 3D games now or in the future, insisting that the demos were just an indication of the ability of the PS3 console, and the possibilities of 3D gaming.

"Don't get caught up with specs", said the company.

"We're not going to talk about specifications. This is just a look at what 3D could look like if Sony decided to move in this direction".

Games such as Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, Wipeout HD and MotorStorm were all on display in 3D, and then during Sony's CES keynote speech, a still of GT5 in 3D was also shown, but Sony again avoided any talk on specific 3D strategy.

So we're afraid it's another watch this space moment folks. The little teasers.
