Sony reinstates Home voice chat with 1.05 update

But only in personal spaces and clubhouses

Sony has today released update version 1.05 for PlayStation Home, it has confirmed on the official blog.

This version follows on from 1.04 released last week to help with connection issues, but took away voice chat in the process to help ease its server strain.

With the new version, voice chat has now been reinstated, but users will only be able to talk to their friends within their personal space and clubhouses. Sony haven't said if this is a permanent change or not.

To download the update, gamers should click on their PlayStation Home icon on the PlayStation Network column of XMB. You'll need to be logged out of Home to install it.
