Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix sells 250,000

19 December 2008 17:59 GMT / By Verity Burns

Capcom's Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix has sold a massive 250,000 copies in just over three weeks.

Those sales are just from Xbox gamers as well, the game is currently only available on XBLA, with no sight of it on PSN and no word as to when we can expect it either.

Capcom reckons that the game is well on the way to breaking the sales record for digitally-distributed games.

It said in a statement: "HD Remix has shattered both day one and week one sales records and will most likely break 30 day sales records as well. It's on its way to becoming the highest grossing digital title ever".

Are you one of the 250,000 people to download the game? Leave us a comment and let us know what you think of it.
