Details have emerged about the new Guitar Hero: Metallica game, the second game in the Guitar Hero series to be themed around a headline band.Similarly to the Aerosmith Guitar Hero game, the track listing that has so far been uncovered mixes Metallica's own material with a number of supporting acts. Foo Fighters, Queen, Judas Priest, Slayer and Samhain are among them, and will bulk out a compilation of Metallica's greatest hits.
The game supports the full band Guitar Hero World Tour kit, with the ability to use drums, guitar, bass and vocals in the songs. It also brings Metallica and Slayer influenced sounds in the GHTunes recording studio.
The game will also debut an Expert Plus drumming difficulty that supports two kick pedals, a freestyle drum fill mode, and some bonus content that includes trivia, photos, set lists and footage.
