GTA IV named Game of Year at VGAs
Gears of War 2, Rock Band 2 and MGS 4 also do well

Grand Theft Auto IV was crowned the Game of the Year at the Video Games' Awards in the US.
But it wasn't just that. Rockstar's game also walked away with best action adventure, and best performance by a human male for Michael Hollick, he voice behind main character Niko.
Other games that walked away with more than one award included Gears of War 2, which took the awards for best shooter and best Xbox 360 game, Rock Band 2, which beat off Guitar Hero for best soundtrack and best music game, Left 4 Dead was named best multiplayer game and best PC game and Metal Gear Solid 4 picked up three awards including best graphic, best original score and best female human performance.
LittleBigPlanet rounded off the multiple award winners with best PS3 game and studio of the year for Media Molecule.
