Xbox Live giveaway offers 222,618 GBP prize pot

The daily star prize is a cheque for £675

Microsoft are offering the all its Xbox Live users from UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland and Finland the chance to win daily cash prizes and goodie bags if they play on the Xbox Live servers during the 1 - 14 March 2004.

Each day, between 1 and 14 March, 36 Gamertags will be chosen randomly from the Xbox Live service. The daily star prize is a cheque for £675. Thirty five runners up each day will each win a stylish black and green Xbox courier bag - containing ten Xbox Live games including Project Gotham Racing 2 and Topspin, an Xbox Controller 'S' plus a limited edition Xbox T-shirt, for a combined prize value of £440 per bag.

Winning Gamertags will be posted regularly on Xbox.com throughout the two-week period and winners will also be notified by e-mail.

Xbox live celebrates its second birthday next month. Microsoft also has plans to introduce more services to the Xbox Live Service including Clan systems, file storage, MSN integration, and voicemail.
