Namco Bandai brings multiplayer to Pac-Man mobile

Get your friends to play as the ghosts

Namco Bandai has updated its Pac-Man mobile game to include two new elements - a multiplayer mode and an online high-score table.

Optimised for a new generation of handsets, mobile users will, for the first time ever, be able to wirelessly challenge up to three of their friends in a re-mastered version of the arcade classic.

Using Bluetooth, players will be able to link up with their friends phones, with one playing as Pac-Man and the others playing as one of the ghosts chasing him.

Of course if you'd rather go it alone, you can do that too, with 256 levels to tackle your way through

Either way you play, you'll be able to compare your abilities with other gamers across Europe via the online hi-score ranking system.

The new game is available now across all major UK operators.
