Namco Bandai has announced it will be releasing a sequel to its popular Wii game Family Ski, but this time, snowboarding will be added into the mix as well.
Appropriately called Family Ski & Snowboard, the sequel is planned for European release in February 2009.
The game will take players through a number of different environments on two new mountains, where they will be able to try out the enhanced skiing functionality, the new snowboarding element, not to mention an additional 10,000 vertical metres ready to shred up.
The game will see you testing your skills either in half-pipe courses and ski technique challenges, or enjoying ski and board school, slaloms and even animal search and rescue. It will use the same controls as Family Ski, with the optional addition of the Wii Balance board to add to the fun.
There is a four-player option that allows you to race your family and friends, or even play against the computer and see how your skills match up. You can even use your Mii character in the game if you want to.
For more information on Family Ski & Snowboard visit the Namco Bandai website. We'll get you a firm release date when we hear it.
