To help with the ever-present credit crunch in the run up to Christmas, Play.com has launched its Mega Monday sale reducing a number of new releases to under £18.Games with the rather reasonable £17.99 price tag include Midnight Club: Los Angeles, Saints Row 2, Shaun White Snowboarding, High School Musical 3: Senior Year Dance!, GTA IV, Manhunt 2, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, The Last Remnant, Bioshock and Far Cry 2.
"Last year, 6 December was the biggest day for online shopping with Play.com taking over 600 orders per minute in the peak period and this year we are expecting this to double", said Play.com MD Stuart Rowe
