GTA IV PC features 32-person multiplayer

Doubles consoles multiplayer offering

Grand Theft Auto IV for PC is all set for its release next week, but we have given one more little insight into what we can expect before it hits the shelves.

The PC version of the hit game is set to feature multiplayer support of up to 32 players, double the maximum number available on the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.

The increased multiplayer will only apply to some of the game's competitive and co-op modes, but we still like the sound of it.

Apparently deathmatch and race matches will work with the 32 multiplayer, as will the unstructured free mode. The Cops'n'Crooks mode, however, remains limited to 16 players.

Grand Theft Auto IV for PC is released next Wednesday, 3 December in Europe.
