PS3 is victorious in Tomb Raider sales

Makes up 51% of total sales

ChartTrack has released stats that show the PS3 claiming the most sales of Eidos' new Tomb Raider game, Underworld.

Sony's console managed to rack up 51% of the sales of the game, while Xbox 360 only managed 34%, giving the PS3 a much-needed win over its rival.

Microsoft had secured exclusive DLC for the game, but it seems this didn't entice gamers as much as perhaps the company had hoped.

The title entered the All Formats charts at number 9 this week, outselling last year's Tomb Raider installment by 6,700 units.

The final 15% of the sales were made up of the game's sales on the Wii, PC and DS.
