No SSFII Turbo HD for PSN in Europe this week

But Capcom won't say when we can expect it

Any PS3 gamers waiting for Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix in Europe won't be seeing it this week, Capcom has confirmed.

SSFII Turbo HD was released in the US today on the PlayStation Network, and will be available worldwide from tomorrow on Xbox Live Arcade.

However Capcom, which has been previously hesitant to comment on the Europe PSN version, has now admitted its Euro release is "definitely not this week".

It's set to cost 1200 Microsoft Points (£10.20) on XBLA and $14.99 (around £9.80) on PSN, although no official UK price has been announced.

The new SSFII Turbo HD updates one of the most famous 2D fighting games of all time, adding HD graphics (as the name would suggest), online play and a soundtrack by OCRemix.

We'll keep you updated with any news we hear on the European PSN release.
