EA is set to release a Dead Space demo tomorrow on Xbox Live, while PlayStation 3 gamers will be able to get it from Thursday in the PlayStation Store.

The demo of the space horror epic will let gamers get their hands on four of Isaac's mining tools, as well as get to grips with his telekinesis and stasis abilities.

"The stunning demo showcases the critically acclaimed combat and strategic dismemberment of the epic sci-fi action game", said EA in a statement earlier today.

At the moment, we don't know how long the demo will be but there will no doubt be enough for you to decide if it's a game for you. It's had mixed reviews so far, so it's best to download the demo for free and make your own decision before going the whole hog.
