Xbox Live is set to be taken over by Guitar Hero World Tour next week, for an entire weekend of organised GHWT events starting from Thursday November 27th.Activision plans to run Play & Win sweepstakes from Friday to Sunday, where you might just bag yourself a Samsung television home theatre package. Other goodies on offer include 1GB memory sticks and portable Guitar Hero speakers. All you need to do to enter is register for the GHWT weekend online, then log on to play a co-op multiplayer session on Xbox Live.
The finale on Sunday 30th November is an all-night Guitar Hero play-off, where you'll get the chance to take on the staff from GHWT developer Neversoft between 10pm and 1am.
Before you go running off to sign yourselves up, the registration site isn't actually live yet. However, when it is, you should see it on the Xbox.com GHWT page.
Unfortunately for PS3 gamers, Activision has confirmed there are no such festivities planned for the PlayStation network.
