PS3 wireless keypad gets November 28th UK release

Will cost £24.99

The wireless keypad for the PlayStation 3 unveiled at the Leipzig Games Convention is set for release in the UK on November 28th, priced at £24.99.

The keypad clips into both Sixaxis and DualShock 3 controllers and will allow gamers to simply type as if they were using a QWERTY keyboard, rather than using the slow point-and-click on-screen keyboards that take forever.

However, more than just letters and numbers, the clip-on peripheral also includes a touch-pad for mouse input similar to using a laptop, and shortcut buttons for Communication and Message Box, meaning players can jump quickly to their friends and their messages during gameplay.

Keep your eye out for it towards the end of the month.
