Microsoft announces new Avatar-using Live title

To be released with NXE

As you should know by now, next week Microsoft will be launching the New Xbox Experience, and has announced it will be releasing a new Xbox Live game to mark the occasion as well.

A Kingdom for Keflings will allow Xbox gamers to use their own customised Avatars, a new feature of NXE, for the first time.

Users will play as a giant watching over a city, giving orders to "Keflings" who build it up, and ensuring the civilisation runs smoothly.

The title was developed by NinjaBee, a division of Wahoo Studios.

"We wanted to make a city building game where the player is more personally involved instead of controlling an abstract floating hand," said Steve Taylor, President of NinjaBee.

He added: "A Kingdom for Keflings transports the player to a world they create and allows them to relax, enjoy the world and create a strategy that works for them."

The game is set to cost 800 Microsoft Points, and will be available on 19th November.
