Rock Band 2 Wii delayed?

US site now states January release

It seems like Wii owners hoping to get their hands on Rock Band 2 this side of Christmas are going to be left out in the cold.

The official Rock Band site now lists a new, and delayed, release date for the Wii version of January 5th. Previously it had been dated for November 18th.

In the UK we are expecting the game for Xbox 360 on November 21st, but awaiting news on other formats. The game is already available in the States. Well, at least for most consoles.

The Rock Band brand is sure to be doubly unpopular with Wii owners now, after a late to the game feature lacking port in 2007.

There's been no official announcement about the delay or any reason given as yet, but we'll keep you updated.
