But Xboxers will have to wait until tomorrow

First Sony signed a deal to get exclusive Mirror's Edge downloadable content for PlayStation 3. Now, PS3 gamers will also be able to get their hands on the Mirror's Edge demo a day before those playing on Xbox 360 too.

EA has announced that the demo is available now on the PlayStation Network, but won't become available on Xbox Live until tomorrow, October 31st. Perhaps this is where all the rumours of it being a PS3 "timed exclusive" came from.

The demo will feature the prologue of the game, a tutorial and a segment of the single-player story mode. Players who pre-order the game will also receive an unlock code to allow them to access the Time Trial mode.

Time Trial challenges players to use their speed and best moves to find the fastest routes throughout the city. You can then upload your best time to the Mirror's Edge online leaderboard for your friends to download and compete against your "ghost".

The game is set for full release on November 11th, and from early reviews, it seems like it's going to be a good'un.

For more information on the game, head over to the Mirror's Edge website.
