Sony launches Home adverts on PSN

But won't talk about them

Sony has updated the PSN sign-up process with an advert for the long-awaited PlayStation Home, but despite all the speculation it surely knew this would cause, a Sony spokeperson had no comment to make on the ad, or as to when we can expect Home to be released.

The box shows an avatar in PlayStation Home with the service's logo underneath, which as you might guess has caused people to think the open beta promised for this "autumn" is not far from release.

Kaz Hirai announced the concept of PlayStation Home at the Tokyo Game Show last year, and it is now over a year late for its original launch date.

Initial reports from those who have had the chance to play around with Home have been positive, so fingers crossed for a release soon so we all get to have a go.
